Gleim Invites Resident to Concealed Carry and Castle Doctrine Seminar
September 13, 2021
HARRISBURG – Rep. Barb Gleim (R-Carlisle) invites residents of the 199th Legislative District to attend her Concealed Carry Seminar on Sept. 15 with special guests Congressman Scott Perry, Kim Stolfer, Co-Founder and President of Firearms Owners Against Crime, Chief Deputy Sheriff Jody Smith and local law enforcement.
The seminar begins Thursday, Sept. 16, 6:30 p.m., at the Carlisle Fire and Rescue, 177 Carlisle Springs Rd.
“In addition to an overview of the state’s firearms laws, the seminar will include information on how to safely interact with police when carrying a firearm, as well as the legal aspects of Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine, which allows a homeowner to use deadly force if necessary when threatened by an armed intruder,” Gleim said. “Meeting and speaking with the men and women on the front lines of fighting crime also provides a great deal of information and can help reassure those seeking to protect themselves and their loved ones from violent criminals.”
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and there is no cost to attend this event. Registration is preferred by calling 717-249-1990 or by signing up here.
