HARRISBURG – Rep. Barb Gleim (R-Cumberland) is inviting area residents to her Concealed Carry Seminar on Thursday, April 11, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Newville Fairgrounds, 433 Shippensburg Road in Newville.
“This is a great opportunity to learn about Pennsylvania firearm laws and ask questions of the experts,” said Gleim. “I encourage anyone who owns a firearm or is thinking of purchasing one to attend.”
There will be a presentation about Pennsylvania’s concealed firearm laws by Firearm Owners Against Crime. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office will also be on-site to process Cumberland County residents’ concealed carry applications.
Cumberland County applicants will need:
• Cash, check or money orders in the amount of $20 with a completed paper application.
• Driver’s license with current address or change of address card.
The sheriff’s office can assist other county residents with their online application at the event, but they will need a credit card for the $25 fee ($20 application and $5 processing fee).
