Gleim to Host Concealed Carry Seminar

HARRISBURG – Gun owners and those interested in learning more about Pennsylvanian’s gun laws are invited to a Concealed Carry Seminar hosted by state Rep. Barb Gleim (R-Cumberland) on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Newville Lions Club Fairgrounds, 433 Shippensburg Road, Newville.

Anyone planning to attend should register in advance by either calling Gleim’s office at 717-249-1990 or visiting her website, www.RepGleim.com, and clicking on the “Events” tab. Registration is appreciated by Friday, Sept. 26. 

“This event will be a great learning opportunity for anyone who is considering applying for a concealed carry permit, as well as existing permit holders,” said Gleim. “Attorney Joshua Price will discuss the latest information about Pennsylvania’s laws and the process our gun owners need to follow to obtain a permit.”

The 199th District consists of the following Cumberland County municipalities: the boroughs of Carlisle, Newburg and Newville; as well as the townships of Hopewell, Lower Frankford, Lower Mifflin, Middlesex, North Middleton, North Newton, South Middleton, Upper Frankford, Upper Mifflin and West Pennsboro.
