Gleim to Co-Host Concealed Carry Seminar on Feb. 13

HARRISBURG – Rep. Barb Gleim will be co-hosting a firearms rights and safety seminar on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 6:30 p.m., at the Mechanicsburg Sportsmen’s Association, 493 Sample Bridge Rd, Enola.
This seminar is ideally suited for residents who are considering applying for a concealed carry permit or those who already have one and wish to be better prepared.
“In addition to an overview of the state’s firearms laws, the seminar will include information on how to safely interact with police when carrying a firearm, as well as the legal aspects of Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine,” Gleim said. “Cumberland County Sheriff Ron Anderson will be there to provide information about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws, and Silver Spring Township Police Chief Chris Raubenstine will discuss gun safety tips.”
Timothy M. Barrouk, Esq., Senior Litigation Associate with the McShane Firm Law Offices, will talk about legal issues related to Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine law. Seats will fill up fast, and registration is required.
