Gleim, Ecker, Carlisle Mayor to Host Town Hall
April 3, 2019
CARLISLE – Reps. Barb Gleim (R-Cumberland) and Torren Ecker (R-Adams/Cumberland) and Carlisle Mayor Tim Scott will be hosting a town hall meeting Thursday, April 18, at 5:30 p.m. at the Carlisle Borough Building, 53 W. South St.
The meeting will focus on state and local issues, such as the challenges of congestion and safety on Interstate 81 and the funding and recruitment issues facing first responders.
“We are looking forward to hearing what is on the minds of our constituents and how we can best represent them in Harrisburg,” said Gleim. “We are grateful to Mayor Scott for hosting this bipartisan meeting with our community.”
“As your voice in Harrisburg, I greatly value constituent feedback and opinions on the issues facing our state,” Ecker said. “Traditional town hall meetings can be particularly helpful in gathering input, as they provide the time needed to really dig into the issues important to area residents.”
